There are literally hundreds of people who could do a better and more professional job than Carragher, so it would be no loss.
I think personally they just want their compliment of Liverpool/Man U shills and cheerleaders because they think it's what we think is important when in all honesty most are sick of it.
BT are just as bad with their Liverpool and Man U old boys club. At least they have Joe Cole even though he chirps for Chelsea as well. Only recently they've added Akinfenwa who is fucking god awful. No idea why they hired him. Bloke can't even communicate properly and just goes on about supporting Liverpool all the time. Cunt was born in Hackney.

Unpopular opinion - I like Jamie Carragher. I think he's a good pundit, and unlike his mouthy Manx mate, he's not constantly on his soapbox talking shit.

I wouldn't forgive him for spitting at me and my kids, but he didn't. He spat at another family having gentle banter with him and he acted like a completely bitter cunt when he spat at the family.
However, I'm level-headed, so that incident while grotesque isn't unforgivable unless you were directly involved.

People have been sacked or 'cancelled' for a lot less. I don't know how he's gotten away with it. Maybe if someone could find a tweet he put out 15 years ago that's not palatable then it would be a different story to actually assaulting a child (technically I believe that's what purposely spitting at someone is)
